Parts of Speech ( Noun and Pronoun)
1. Noun (Kata Benda)
Noun is a word ( other than a pronoun) used to identify any of a class of people, places, animals, things, or ideas.
A. Concrete Noun
A concrete noun is a noun that can be identified through one ( or more) of the five senses ( taste,
touch, sight, hearing, or smell)
Example: Banana, house, book, phone.
B. Abstract Noun
Abstract noun that is a noun that cannot be seen with the five senses.
Example: Love, freedom, happiness, power,hate.
C. Common Noun
Common nouns are words for people, places, animal and things.
Example:
Proper nouns are names for particular people, places and things. They always begin with a capital letter.
Example:
pronoun are words that are used to replace nouns, these nouns can be human, animal, place, and
abstract concepts.
Example:

- The one spoken about is called the third person.
